Violet RE
Static reverse engineering
Violet RE decompiles binaries and mobile apps into readable source. Every proposed identifier rename is checked against an equivalence gate for its language, and the recovered source is checked for known weakness types. Targets are never executed on the public tier.
- Reads
- Binaries, and mobile apps as APK, AAB or IPA
- Rename gate
- Python bytecode equivalence. Tree-sitter structural equivalence for C, C++ and Java
- Checks for
- Known weakness types, including injection, path traversal, unsafe deserialisation and hard-coded credentials
- Findings
- Each stated with its conditions, confidence and limits
- Analysis
- Static. Targets are never executed on the public tier
