Double Ten

Double Ten is a calm number puzzle with dominoes for iPhone, iPad and Android. Bring a column to exactly ten to clear it. Made by Vio Labs.

Coming soon on iOS and Android. Double Ten is not in the App Store or on Google Play yet.

A Double Ten level on a phone. Five columns, A to E, hold 8, 7, 6, 0 and 0. A domino with 2 and 3 pips is selected, and the A to B target shows 10 and 10 with the words Double clear. Below are the hand of three dominoes, the next domino, and buttons for Undo, Restart and Hint.
Level 3, Room for a choice. Placing the 2 and 3 domino on columns A and B brings both to ten at once, for a double clear.

What it is

Double Ten is a single-player number puzzle built around dominoes. The board has five columns, A to E. Every domino has two halves, and each move drops those halves into two neighbouring columns, adding their pips to each.

Bring a column to exactly ten and it clears back to zero. Bring both columns to ten in one move for a double clear. A move that would take either column past ten is not allowed, so the order of your pieces matters. You can flip a domino to swap its halves before you place it, and the targets show what each column would reach.

Each level has a goal, such as clearing three columns including one double clear, or clearing the columns marked with stars. You hold three dominoes at a time and can see the next one coming.

Tap a domino and then a pair of columns, or drag it there. The first levels teach the rules.

What is in it

  • 3,000 puzzles. In 100 chapters of 30, each with a checked winning solution. Finish a level to open the next, and replay any level you have finished.
  • Daily puzzle. A new puzzle each day, with free entry and free hints, and no lives used. Solve it for 10 coins and that day's medal on a calendar. Missing a day costs nothing.
  • Help. Undo is always free. Hints are free for the first 10 levels.
  • Colours. Finishing each of the first five chapters unlocks a new colour palette for the board.
  • Settings. Sound, haptics, reduced motion, and larger numbers on the dominoes.
  • Offline. All the puzzles are in the app. You can play without a connection and without an account, and your progress stays on your phone.

Price, coins and lives

Double Ten is free to play. You start with 60 coins and get 5 more the first time you finish each level, and 25 for each chapter. From level 11 a hint costs 25 coins.

From level 11 you also have five lives. A level that you fail, or restart after placing a piece, costs one. A life comes back every 20 minutes, or you can get one for 50 coins. The daily puzzle never uses lives.

After you have finished the first 10 levels, you can choose to watch a video advert for 50 coins or one life, from the Rewards screen. The game sometimes offers one when you finish a level, at most four times a day, and you can turn those offers off in Settings. Watching is never required. Every advert request is marked as directed at children and asks for adverts that are not personalised.

This version of Double Ten has no purchases.

Privacy

Double Ten has no accounts, no analytics and no crash reporting. Your progress, and a record of your play that you can export, stay on your device. Adverts come from Google AdMob and load only when you choose to watch one. The Double Ten privacy policy sets out what the app stores, what it sends and to whom.
